by contraries proceeds;

and weakness marks the course

of tao's mighty deeds.

2. all things under heaven sprang from it as existing (and named); that existence sprang from it as non-existent (and not named).

反者道之动，弱者道之用。

天下之物生于有，有生于无。

正﹑反之间的出入自如，是道的运行特征；柔弱灵动的因势顺导，是道的施用特性。天下各类存在之成其为存在，是因为它们有名，而有名生于无名。
